Concept behind dreaded BURI NAJAR-

“Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder” is very true but as much truth is that the same eye is capable of transferring the negative energies which are capable of causing harmful effects on another person. Our mind is an instrument of our feelings and emotions and it just acts like a two way radio-transmitter. When a person keeps accumulating negative emotions or feelings towards another person they get beamed via the eyes on him and as little as a simple gaze or a cursory glance can bring the ill effects. It is the first glance that is important and once it is neutralized then there is no further harm.

In the spiritual context, energy exists in every form. So it lies in spoken word, feeling of touch, taste, thoughts and odor also. All these energies constitute what we commonly perceive as a person’s WILL and according to this fundamental a person can transmit his willful energy which can be in a positive or negative form.
When a person is stuck with a negative thought or thoughts constantly than it becomes stronger and generate the vibration for movement. This vibration energy of the negative thoughts surely erupt negative effects on the affected person. Such negative thoughts often get strengthened in people possessing strong will power and they can knowingly or unknowingly bring adverse effects on the person about whom they have been focusing there attention on.

Who can have the evil eye?

A person is said to possess the evil eye if whatever he or she looks upon is harmed. The evil eye is either involuntary or deliberate. A person with an evil eye need not necessarily be wicked, disgustful or loathful and usually are not aware they are doing so. Even an innocent person totally unaware of his psychic potentials can cast a ferocious evil eye on another of whom he has been ill thinking of continuously or who just cannot control their own emotions. This harmful emotion can be substantial enough to make its way through one or more of your chakras or astral nerve centers. The evil eye is a thought or thoughts emanating from a negative emotion in one person and sent either willfully or unwillfully to another person. Because thoughts are usually motivated and propelled by emotions, they can range anywhere from love to lust and from hatred to jealousy. Some of these energies are subtle and some are quite strong. Love and envy; they both are extremely strong and intense wishes, they frame themselves readily into imaginations, and they come easily into the eye, especially upon the presence of the objects which can contribute to fascination, if any such there be.
Compliments of any sort , especially those that have a sense of envy or jealousy, can trigger the evil eye. Extraneous objects such as fancy dress, jewelry, or food that evoke jealosy can make the person possessing them afflicted with illness. This means that anyone with anything admirable is susceptible to the evil eye.
One or two "incriminating" incidents from everyday life may doom a person to the detested category of those with the "eye".
The stare of a person with these kind of negative energy acts like a laser beam, which rips open the aura of concern person and blind the third eye which is the source of accepting the positive energy from the nature resulting in unexplained uneasiness, loss of control, weeping, irritation, sleeplessness, weakness and loss of appetite in general.

The deliberate or malevolent use of the evil eye is called "overlooking" which is developed after lot of practice by directing the negative energy to the target.

How does one know that he is affected by the evil eye?

Whenever a person suffers from unexplained distress in any domain of life for which no obvious cause could be pinpointed then it is highly possible of his being affected by the evil eye.It is beyond the realms of our sensory perceptions and also from that of our mind and intellect to even perceive the evil eye because its effects are at the spiritual levels and they are in-perceivable to our human senses. Only a person who is spiritually advanced and evolved i.e. his spirituality level is above 70% can actually perceive it.
Another method to ascertain this is to perform a specific ritual to cast off the evil eye and see the results.

Does Astrology help in finding vulnerability for evil eye?

Yes! Astrology definatly helps in determining the susceptibility for evil eye.
Planets, house and their relationship with each other indicates the sensitivity for Najar. The key role is played by Rahu, Ketu and Saturn. Some zodiac signs like cancer easily get affected by negative energies. The role of moon can not be ignored because it governs our emotions. When remedies to neutrlize the negative energy are done according to horoscope,it gives good and long lasting.

How certain rituals cast off the evil eye after effect?

The fundamental behind performing the rituals to cast off the effects of evil eye is to nullify the negative energies which are the chief agents behind all its ill effects. Such rituals are powerful methods of literally sucking out these negative forces from the vital energy sheath and the mental sheath of the affected person. When the black negative energies have been sucked out, they are nullified and destroyed by burning them.

How to get rid of the effects of the evil eye?

There are various remedies for getting untangled from the ill effects of the evil eye and they are numerous and diverse according to the customs and the religious practices. Here are certain widely practiced remedial methods to cast off the evil eye.
1) Take a pinch of salt and wave it over the head of the affected person and throw it in the running water.
2) You can use full red chili and do the same as in the above step but instead throw it in fire.
3) Pin up or thread seven green chilies on the top of a lemon and hang it on the front door of your home or office.
4) Simply apply a black spot with kajal on the forehead of the affected child.
5) A black pot can be hung on the front face of the hose or office wall or roof.
6) Tying a black thread or a ribbon behind the new vehicle.
7) See your image in bowl of mustard oil and then burn this oil outside the house.
8) Meditation, yoga and chanting of mantra helps by strengthening our aura and controlling our own emotions.
9) Specific remedies according to planetary position in horoscope.
10) One can ward off the effect also by wearing the Siddha Yantra for evil eye protection.

How to do puja on Diwali

Your guide to perform laxmi puja the most important aspect of the festival on Diwali

First and foremost step is to clean the house. Through the puja we are inviting Goddess Lakshmi to our house and she likes everything to be neat and clean. Make a rangoli on front door at least. Offer few clay diyas in temple than lighten your house and start the puja.

Important Items Needed For Lakshmi Puja-

Kalash, Mango leaves, nariyal gari ( peeled coconut )
Idol or picture of Goddess Lakshmi and Ganesha, Shivling and Shri Yantra if you have
Milk, curd, honey, ghee, gangajal for Panchamrat
raw rice, dry fruits, ), incense sticks (agarbattis), vermilion (kumkum),
puja Sweets, Red cloth, Red and other color flowers, Seeds of kamalgatta, Hawan samagri ( fire sacrifice), Samidha for Navgrah, Kalawa ( a skein of thread ), supari ( Betel nut ), Coconut, Paan ke patte, Rangoli

Lakshmi Puja Process

• First decide on a place to perform the puja. It should be in East or North
• Spread a clean red cloth on a chouki ( a small stool for offering ) and create a bed of rice on lt and rt side.
• A Kalash (pot), is placed after tying three rounds of kalawa on the bed of rice.
• Fill the Kalash with water.
• Put a betel nut, flower, a clean coin, and some rice in the Kalash.
• Now arrange mango leaves around the opening of the Kalash in 7 or 9 number.
• Place a coconut after tying three rounds of kalawa on the Kalash.
• In the front of your right hand, draw a lotus with turmeric powder and flour and place the idol or small photograph of Goddess Lakshmi, Ganesha , Shri Yantra on bed bed of rice. Shiv ling you can keep on side also’
• Take some water and sprinkle on all puja items to purify them.
• Do puja with haldi, kumkum and flowers on the Kalash.
• Light a four faced lamp ( dipak ) . It should be for the whole night. The diyas serve a dual purpose. Their primary purpose is to drive away all the shadows of evil spirits present in the area. At the same time awakening of the light of good within each individual.
• The incense sticks are burnt while the clay lamps are filled with ghee and their wicks are lit
• Now remember the following deities in given order and offer each one the following set of offering- flower, 1 paan leave, loung, supari and some sweet .Guru is remembered before every pooja first. Than start with Ganesh ji , Navgarah ( Surya, Chandra, Mangal, Budh, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu, Ketu), Kuber devta, Sthan devta and Vaastu devta.
• No puja is performed without paying customary tributes to Lord Ganesha. Lord Kubera, represents wealth, and he is the treasurer of Gods. In homes, usually the locker or safe in which gold and cash is kept symbolically represents the seat of Kubera.
• A panchamitra is made using five ingredients including milk, curd, honey, gangajal, and clarified butter (ghee). Offer this panchamrit to Lord Shiva with Mahamritunjay mantra-

“ Om Tryambakam yajamahe
Sugandhim pushti-vardhanam
Urvarukamiva bandhanan
Mrityor mukshiya mamritat"

• Now sprinkle the flowers and rice on the idol of Goddess Lakshmi.
• Take out the idol of Goddess Lakshmi and place it on a Thaali. Clean the idol with panchamrit. Then clean the idol again with water.
• Place the idol back. Now offer fruits, sweets, betel nuts and betel leaves.
• Next make offerings of Batasha and puffed rice ( lahi).
• Chant “ Om Mahalaxmaye Namah” for some time.
• Now do hawan. Offer hawan samagri to each diety you welcomed in above mention order with the hawan samagri. When you start offering for Goddess Laxmi, the head of the family will do with the kamalgatta and ghee and other family members with the hawan chanting “om mahalaxmaye namah” mantra for 108 times.
• When finished all family members should stand up and offer nariyal gari for purnahuti.
• .Now you are ready for the Aarti. Light the Aarti diya. Light camphor. Sing the aarti to the tune of 'Om Jai Jagdeesh hare' along with the accompaniment of the jingle of the bell. (You will find the words of the Aarti at the end of this note)

Importance of DIPAWALI pujan

The Word Diwali is derived from Sanskrit word Deepawali. This is a compund of two words Deepa and Avali. Deepa means light and Avali means row or line. Thus the literal meaning of the word is 'line of lights'.
Goddess Lakshmi is the Goddess of light, beauty, wealth and good fortune. She is said to be the daughter of sage Bhrigu who took refuge in the ocean of milk and was reborn during the famous ocean churning process carried out by Gods and demons. Diwali is celebrated to commemorate the birth of the Goddess of Wealth and hence Lakshmi Puja is a very important part of the celebrations.
The word "Lakshmi" is derived from the Sanskrit word "Laksya", meaning 'aim' or 'goal', and she is the goddess of wealth and prosperity, both material and spiritual. Also 'lakh' which means "one hundred thousand' as a monetary unit in India, is the first part of Lakshmi's name, symbolizing her blessings that pour forth abundantly. Lakshmi in Sanskrit is derived from its elemental form "lakS," meaning to perceive or observe.
Goddess Laxmi is the ruler of eight kinds of wealth.

1) Ädi Lakshmi [Wealth a priori]
2) Dhänya Lakshmi [Granary Wealth]
3) Dhairya Lakshmi [Wealth of Courage]
4) Gaja Laksmi [Wealth of Animals]
5) Santaana Lakshmi [Wealth of Progeny]
6) Vijaya Lakshmi [Wealth of Victory]
7) Vidyaa Lakshmi [Wealth of Knowledge]
8) Dhana Lakshmi [Monetary Wealth]
Goddess Lakshmi is the consort of Lord Vishnu (Lord of Protection Maintenance & Preservation). As the power and consort of Vishnu, the preserver, she is the power of multiciplicity and the goddess of fortune, both of which are necessary for preservation.
There goes the saying that Goddess Laxmi travels on owl if she travels alone and if she travels with Lord Vishnu then she travels on Garuda. Now these two differenet situations signifies two different aspects of prosperity. When Goddess Laxmi travels alone on owl, then the people who acquire wealth gets intellectually blind and when she travels with Vishnu , then the person acquires wisdom along with wealth .Garuda which can spread the vedic knowledge with great courage.
Diwali the festival of light is the most important time to do wealth related sadhna because Goddess laxmi says whenever I am prayed on Diwali I manifest at such place and bestows the worshipper by fulfilling the desires.
Lakshmi Puja is actually a combined puja of five deities. Lord Ganesha is worshipped at the beginning of every auspicious act as Vighnaharta. Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped in her three forms - Mahalakshmi (the Goddess of Wealth and Money), Mahasaraswati (the Goddess of Books and Learning), and Mahakali. Worshipping of Kuber (the Treasurer of the Gods) is also an integral part of Lakshmi Puja.
On the night of Diwali, the period after midnight is known as "mahanisha". Occult prayers done in this period are very effective. If one prays to Goddess Lakshmi during this period, he is provided with ample monetary earnings. This period is very significant for those who want monetary success in life as well as spiritual success.

Importance of Laxmi Pujan
A. Destruction of distressing energies On this particular day, Goddess Laxmi's destroyer (marak) form is active, since it is the new moon day. The spiritual emotion of the person doing ritualistic worship, activates Goddess Laxmi's marak form and destroys the distressing frequencies in the environment.
B. Arrival of other Gods (Devtas): Lord Indra and other male deities also get drawn to the place of ritualistic worship and follow Goddess Laxmi. Thus happiness, opulence, prosperity, stability and wealth is maintained in the premise (Vastu) by worshiping the 5 elements or Deities.

Marriage & Spirituality

Right match is requiredHoroscope matching

The supreme element is divided into two fragments: one is god and second one is soul. The soul is again divided into male and female element but they got separated under the flow of time. These separated elements are compelled to find each other. This agitation and bewilderment is the source of affinity and attraction between male and female. We accept the body again and again until we find the real counter part to convert this eternal separation into alliance to get highest pleasure.

Man and woman are two different poles, the positive ( male) and the negative ( female) poles of energy. To complete a circle both positive and negative poles are required. A right meeting of those two poles completes a circuit and produces a kind of powerful magnetic field of energy which creates oscillation and intense warmth. This power if guided properly can help in piercing the chakras for awakening of Kundalini. When the energy moves upward you become more and more silent. Silence is the by-product of energy moving upward and tension is the by-product of energy moving downward.

When two different part of different soul meet and marry each other without purification, they cant mature their relationship towards the spiritual level. The alliance remains only at worldly level and it causes ignorance, differences in opinion and egoism, resulting in stale and disturbed relationship. Here astrology plays a vital role in finding the equal energy people with the help of ASHTKOOT MILAN.The love is the content of soul and true love only originates when the same soul parts meets each other. When this love happens ALL PAINS, SUFFERINGS, HARRASMENTS, DISTRESS AND DISHARMONY VANISHES. Only joy lasts which leads to liberation. The meeting of these right souls is YOGA in true sense and the system which guides and implies efforts in right direction is the TANTRA.

The Tantra Sadhna starts from Brahamcharya (celibacy), matures in married life and achieved in monasticism. To regularize this power and avoid the distraction, marriage institution is made. Marriage is included among the forty samskaras, which fact shows that it is a sacred rite that sanctifies life. Two souls come together and marry because their Karmas are interwined and they have to resolve many things together upon earth in order to ensure their mutual salvation.
